I sincerely need help on this story. Will you help?

If you were reading your own book, what would you expect to happen? Do the exact opposite, it surprises readers and makes them want to read more. If it seems that she'll make it and be okay, you could have her die, or if she seems like there's nothing anyone can do, bring her back out of it. Be realistic though, don't have the power of love bring her back, readers hate that. Maybe someone needs to make a giant sacrafice to save her, that would be nice. Maybe the pirates have the cure, either way, good luck.
