PLEASE HELP! ANYONE!!! ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Okk so there's this boy that my best friend likes and she told me to hook the up or whatever and I told her ok because me and him are very cool, but I always thought he had a thing for me but I didn't know for sure. Until one saturday night, my brother and I went to a fair and we met up with some other friends or whatever. So we ended up leaving and I rode with the boy that my friend likes and we were just talking the whole way tot he party we were going to and i mean he is one of the veryy few boys that I can actually have an intellectual conversation with. Anyway, when we finally got to the party, we were dancing together and I was kind of drunk so I had really forgot that my friend liked him && it was cold and I didn't bring a jacket because I didn't really know that it would get that cold and he gave me his jacket because he had on a long sleeve shirt and I just thought that was the nicest thing and he's so sweet. So by now, you probably know the outcome, I ended up liking him and everybody was telling me that he liked me but I could never do that to my friend so yeah I am really confused. && he tells some people he likes me as a friend and others he liked me more so I really don't know what to think now. I haven't told my friend anything and I don't plan on telling her. Although, the other day she told me that she didn't like him anymore but I know that she still does. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!
