What value EU unity now with financial meltdown member countries show their true colours and jump ship fast?

Little . . . outside of a single portable currency and cohesive international trade laws (with countries outside of the EU) which makes international trade easier . . . the overall value is little . . . the EU has failed to present a cohesive international strategy and has failed to raise a military to enforce and protect such strategies . . .
