Saxophone Leaks?

I am pretty sure i have a leak in my tenor saxophone because my low notes (from low G down) dont come out when i play soft but when i play on other peoples sax i can play low notes perfectly. so do you think i have a leak? Also how can you tell if your saxophone has a leak? and one more thing how can you fix leaks without taking it to the shop?
