Can i become ordained on line in the UK to marry my friends?

Two friends of mine are getting married next year, I mentioned jokily about getting ordained online so I became except from council tax, They said if I did then I could perform the ceremony (like Joey did in friends) I’ve searched the internet for the legal aspect in the auk but cant find anything only to do with the use, Can any shine any light on my quest in the legality of this or is it only those crazy American that can have all the fun?
