My fellow Americans why do we think capitalism is so noble?

We seem to equate capitalism with righteousness, with nobility, with justice. WHY? To me it is obvious the reason why is because we were brainwashed growing up. Think how quickly we are to call capitalism holy and communism evil. What's even funnier is if your like most people capitalism isn't working out too well for you and yet you, I'm sure, will viscously and violently defend it.
