How do you get ride of a cricket?

so a couple of nights ago i was in my kitchen and something was crawling on my wall it was Big and i don't know if its a grhopper or a cricket i'm thinking a cricket anyways my brother took the broom and swayed it and it fell he said it was dead but it wasnt this moring i hear chriping and i saw it near the window i took my cat and she chased it then we lost it i called my dad up I HATE BUGS i was crying i want it out of my house i don't wanna kill it but i don't ant it in my house what do i do i put on chirping on youtube so i could trap it but it didn't work please help
