Greece** Is it me or there is unique love and mutual admiration between Greece and East Asia?

It is strange that the influence of Greek culture spread eastwards and not westwards.Here in Britain there is plenty of physical evidence of The Romans but not to my knowledge of The Greeks or Greek culture.That came later when Britain stole some marbles and Greek restaurants opened selling Meze,Taramosalata,Houmous,Dolmades,Kleft… favourite).Kalamari and Stifado.(I had a StifadoN last night, but my partner went to sleep and it was wasted).In school we learned that the Greek civilisation was one of, if not the oldest in the world and names like Plato,Archimedes, Pythagoras were always cropping up.EDIT--Knight ? You amaze me with your knowledge.That last part of your question shows me the east asian influence that you talk about.The chinese writing that you use at the end strongly resembles Greek in my opinion.
